My credentials include certified membership in the Appraisers Association of America and accredited membership in the International Society of Appraisers, which require their members to pass tests, and take courses to update their knowledge on the latest professional standards.
After a phone consultation and an assessment of your needs, we’ll schedule an appointment. I will go to your location, examine the property , conduct my research through a variety of sources. A report will be generated with all the pertinent information and in accordance to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. A copy of it will be given to you and another one will be kept on file.

Grew up and studied in Mexico City and now resides in Houston, Texas. She is an alumna of the NYU appraisal studies program & a former Mexican Cultural Attaché. She has lectured and published in the USA and abroad. Josefa advises on foreign cultural patrimony laws and provenance issues. She has helped in the repatriation of cultural artifacts to their country of origin. She's been an expert witness in court cases. Josefa is an ISA accredited member and an AAA certified member. She is in the Board of Directors of the AAA.
